Richmond Set to Host 32nd National Veterans Wheelchair Games

The 32nd National Veterans Wheelchair Games is racing to Richmond this June. The event is the largest annual wheelchair sports competition in the world and offers 17 different sports to veterans who use wheelchairs due to spinal cord injuries, amputations and neurological diseases.

Scheduled from June 25 – 30, 2012, the Games promote rehabilitation through rigorous competition in such events as basketball, rugby, softball, handcycling, air guns, trapshooting and others.
